FAIRY TALES & NURSERY RHYMES TOUR 2009
The Fairies are having a fan-fairy-tastic 2009, with a brand new series being filmed in May, and a host of live shows scheduled from September onwards, around most of Australia. The Fairies "Fairy Tales & Nursery Rhymes Tour" will feature four well-loved fairy tales now in fabulous new songs, plus sing-along nursery rhymes and a magic burst of The Fairies favorites in Jump Jump Star, Fairy Ballet, The Silly Song and Fairy Dancing Girl.

This year's tour will feature Harmony, Rhapsody, Barnaby and Wizzy, along with The Fairies brand new friend, Fairy Princess Minuet, the Dancing Fairy, who will perform magical ballet on pointe to delight all of our fairy fans.

Tickets go on sale 1 April for this fan-fairy-tastic show and the purchasers of the first 200 tickets sold at every venue will have the chance to go into a special draw - one lucky family drawn out on 1 May 2009 by The Fairy Queen, Jen Watts, will have the unique opportunity to visit The Fairies' Fairyland film set in May - with $500 towards travel and accommodation. THE FAIRIES TV SERIES 3
The Fairies new series will air on the Seven Network from 16 July, and is fairy full of dancing, singing and music. Barnaby and Wizzy are their usual silly selves, but giving important messages in their new "Fairy Green" segment, (with a green step each day, earth can be saved!), and exploring lots of different musical instruments in Magical Music.

Fairy Princess Minuet warms up our bodies every episode with gentle and fun warm ups, and teaches the dance steps to the "Fairy Song of the Day". Rainbow Fairy makes her debut as the specialist activity fairy - "On your feet, get moving, it's time to have some fun", encouraging all of our fairy fans to get up on their feet and join in with dancing, skipping, hopping, jumping, acting and playing.

And new to Series 3, our Fairy Tale segment, with stories read out loud in "FairyMagination", and pantomimes performed with hilarious antics by all of our fairy friends.

Oh and then of course there's Jethro the Jitterboy (our divine break-dancing, rapping, ballet-dancing Funky Boy), as well as the Fairy Dancing Girls, the Bee Boyz, Cordeline the Clever Pixie and the Fairy Ballerinas.
