Ausdance ACT proudly presents the 25th SmokeFree Youth Dance Festival - Changes 25 Years! Each night is different, each night brings new dance to the stage in a non-competitive expression of youth dance and energy, with 1,300 dancers from 32 high schools and colleges in 45 separate original dance works using every dance style imaginable.

Over many months these dance works have been created in a process between dance teachers and youth dancers, music has been edited to suit, dance moves tightened up - and the result is 15 new dance works each night!

More than 30,000 dancers have participated in SmokeFree Youth Dance Festival since its inception in 1985 as part of International year of Youth, and it remains the biggest youth dance event in the region.
